William J.	Alice	Charlotte

William Jared Pratt, a son of William Dickinson Pratt and Wealthy Eddy, was born on 22 Jun 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois. He died on 16 Jun 1909 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was buried on 20 Jun 1909 in Albion, Cassia, Idaho.

William married Alice Fleet Smart on 1 Dec 1862 in Franklin, Oneida, Idaho. Alice was born on 1 Jan 1844 in Pontlash, Calvados, Normandy, France, a daughter of Henry Fleet and Annetta (Ann) Haytor. Ann later married Thomas Sharratt Smart, who I believe adopted Alice. Alice died on 17 Feb 1920 in Burley, Cassia, Idaho and was buried on 20 Feb 1920 in Albion.

William married Charlotte Chandler Parkinson on 10 Apr 1873 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Samuel Rose Parkinson and Arabella Chandler. Charlotte was born on 1 Aug 1855 in Kaysville, Davis, Utah. She died 11 Jun 1935 in Preston, Franklin, Idaho, and was buried on 14 Jun 1935 in Franklin.

Alice's and Charlotte's fathers were neighbors and business partners in Franklin. Alice's two younger half-sisters, Charlotte and Maria Smart, married Samuel R., making Alice an aunt to her sister-wife Charlotte C. P. (though not a blood relative).

Triple Cousins

Most the links above are to pages for which by Ben Parkinson, who made this site, is also webmaster. I am descended from Jared Pratt and from Samuel Rose Parkinson on different lines, and my wife Robin is descended from Wealthy Eddy on a different line. (This page is a subpage on my Parkinson and as well as my Pratt pages.) If you descend from William and Charlotte, our kids are triple cousins! (I have information on Wealthy Eddy also for those who are interested.)
